Espresso and diabetes

I've mentioned before that coffee might help prevent diabetes.

It appears that coffee has fiber, good for diabetics, good for people with cholesterol problems. All in all just a good thing.

And, although instant (ugh) has the most fiber, espresso has more than standard brewed coffee.
Instant coffee contained the most -- about 1.8 grams of soluble dietary fiber per cup. Espresso had 1.5 grams of soluble dietary fiber per cup, and filtered coffee contained 1.1 grams, the study shows.

Coffee and diabetes

Drinking coffee helps cut the risk of diabetes. How cool is that?

Of course if you have diabetes things might be different, what with high blood pressure problems being a risk for diabetics.
